today I could record my 2500th pageview. That marks a milestone!
Someone might ask "Why so few?" - I think I can answer that. Comparing my work to most that's published by others here mine is simply poor quality, let's face it. The pics arme mostly cheered by hardcore hamster or rodent lovers which forgive general picture quality for the subject.
For all the people who already thought that but never dared to speak up: feel invited to groan about the quality, make suggestions
To make pictures of such small and agile animals is a very hard job, as many of you might already know, you have to deal with very small depth of field at the necessary reproduction ratios. In fact rodent photgraphy is macro photography with turbo-boosted subjects ... quite a challenge.
Since I refuse to do lots of post processing it's hard to show work that's "well done" for rodent and general photo fans at the same time.
But I have good news for both types of the audience: I experimented a lot with lighting the last months and will upload the first results just after I finished this journal entry.
I will introduce Jovi, a nice little fellow, please welcome him nicely!
Maybe these will get more attention - let me know what you think.
Thanks to all the people who visit frequently.

RAWR! (^. .^)~ kitteh kitteh
But your babes are just soooo cute! XD I can't help but love them.
My aim was just to entertain but if those pics can change something in someone it is more than I ever expected.
And to be honest: I can understand people who like rats more since they are social and their behaviour is even more interesting.

Glad you found it good. ^__^ I can't wait to see more pictures!
